The Cupertino-based tech giant plans to introduce three different iPhone models in 2019 using the same dimensions as the current generation.
In other words, the next-year lineup will include a 5.8-inch iPhone, a 6.1-inch LCD version, and a 6.5-inch new Max model with OLED.
Previously, it was believed that Apple might give up on LCD completely as part of the company’s transition to OLED, but if Kuo is accurate, the company isn’t aiming for this change in the short term.
LCD to stick around for one more year
However, there’s a chance that LCD would be dropped in 2020 or 2021, according to reports that made the rounds earlier this year, as Apple still sees OLED as the only way to go in terms of display technology.
