We’re known for a while that Apple was working on a foldable iPhone, and this obviously makes perfect sense given this is a trend that the entire mobile industry has embraced anyway.
Rivals like Samsung are already investing big in foldable devices, and now everybody believes a foldable iPhone is just a matter of time.
On the other hand, it’s pretty clear Apple isn’t necessarily in a rush to make it happen, and while some people expected the device to go live in 2022, it looks more and more unlikely to see such a highly anticipated model finally hitting the shelves.
Display analyst Ross Young also believes the foldable iPhone wouldn’t go live this year, and in a recent post, he explains there’s a bigger chance for the whole thing to take place in 2023 at the earliest. 2024, on the other hand, seems more likely to witness the debut of this iPhone model, he says.
