Replacing the battery of an iPhone is something that so many people do for obvious reasons. Because batteries are degrading at a pace that would technically require getting a new iPhone faster than most people are willing to do this, installing a new unit is obviously the preferred way to go for quite a lot of customers.
Doing this, however, is going to cost you more, as Apple is increasing the price of battery replacements by as much as $20.
However, only the previous-generation iPhones are impacted, with 9to5mac reporting that owners of the iPhone 13, iPhone 12, iPhone 11, and iPhone X will have to pay $89 for a battery unit, up from the current price of $69 in the United States.
On the other hand, the battery replacement prices of the iPhone 14 generation will remain unchanged, so they will continue to cost $99 for all customers.
