Apple's Fifth Beta Release of iOS 10.2 Now Available to Public Testers and Devs

Apple today seeded the fifth and probably the last Beta development release of the upcoming iOS 10.2 update of the mobile operating system used in iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices.

The Beta 5 release comes only four days after the fourth Beta build, but it looks like only iOS 10.2 received the update, as Apple is yet to seed Beta 5 versions of its soon-to-be-released macOS Sierra 10.12.2, watchOS 3.1.1, and tvOS 10.1 operating system, as well as the Xcode 8.2 IDE for application developers.

Tagged as build 14C89, iOS 10.2 Beta 5 is also available for public beta testers and adds a couple of more improvements to the recently introduced TV app, such as the ability to sync the library content with iTunes 12.5 through 12.5.3 without it being deleted, and improves iPod touch support by fixing a crash and the “TV is u… (read more)
