Apple Watch Could Soon Track Dancing, Curling, and American Football

Apple’s next-month event is likely to include not only the unveiling of the eagerly-anticipated iPhone 8, but also a brand-new Apple Watch, which will introduce a series of new features, including LTE support to become fully independent from the iPhone.

But a report that’s making the rounds today indicates that Apple is also preparing some changes on the software side of the Apple Watch, like support for new activities.

iHelp has discovered a series of new icons in the existing iOS 11 betas which are presumably being used by the companion Apple Watch and defining the activities that can be tracked by the device and the app. There are several new workouts being hinted at, including dancing, curling, baseball, American football, skiing, and several others.
