Apple Announces New WebKit API in iOS 11.2 to Design Websites for iPhone X

Apple announced today that it introduced a new WebKit API (Application Programming Interface) to allow web developers design websites for the edge-to-edge display of the iPhone X.

In its latest developer blog, Apple explains how the new WebKit API that’s implemented in the latest iOS 11.2 beta 3 software update that the company seeded earlier today to developers and public beta testers alike, helps web designers build websites that take full advantage of the edge-to-edge display of the iPhone X smartphone.
