Next-Generation iPhone X to Feature 4GB RAM

Apple is expected to launch at least two new iPhone models this year, and one of them is likely to be an upgraded version of the iPhone X.

Well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo from KGI Securities believes the 5.8-inch model to launch in 2018, and which is likely to be the direct successor to the iPhone X, will feature a welcome RAM upgrade to 4GB RAM. The same upgrade is expected to happen on the 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus as well.

At this point, the iPhone X uses only 3GB RAM, but as it’s the case with iOS devices, Apple relies heavily on software optimizations to boost the performance of its devices. On Android, the typical offering is between 4GB and 6GB RAM.
