Apple Releases macOS Mojave with Dark Mode and Improvements, Here's What's New

Apple released today the macOS Mojave 10.14 computer operating system for supported Macs, a major release that adds a long-anticipated Dark Mode, as well as new features and improvements.

About four months in the works, macOS Mojave 10.14 is finally here and you can install it right now on your Mac computers (see supported models and update instructions below). It’s a major update compared to the macOS High Sierra 10.13 series that introduces a new Dark Mode, which is available for all the default apps and numerous others you might have installed.

macOS Mojave 10.14 also introduces several new features to make your Mac computing experience better, including Desktop Stacks to help you keep your desktop cleaner, as well as a new view mode called Gallery View in Finder that makes it easy to preview images, videos, presentations, documents, as well as numerous other file types, and that also supports viewing of metadata for images and other files.
