You’d think companies learn from their own mistakes and adapt on the go in order to improve their business, but this doesn’t seem to be the case of Apple.
According to a new report, the upcoming 2019 iPhone lineup will have the same prices as the current models, which have often been criticized for being too expensive.
In fact, the high prices of the existing iPhones have been considered one of the main reasons sales remained low, as the top-of-the-range XS Max can be purchased in the US for no less than $1,449.
However, Apple doesn’t think this is a problem, so the new iPhones due in September will cost the same as their predecessors. In other words, the updated XR will begin at $749, while the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max successors will start at $999 and $1,049, respectively. The top model will still cost $1,449.
