Apple today unveiled the 5th generation Apple Watch smartwatch, which features an always-on Retina display, as well as built-in compass and international emergency calling.
Powered by the watchOS 6 operating system, which launches September 19th, the Apple Watch Series 5 is here and it’s the first of its kind to ship with the next-generation Retina display with always-on function, which means that the display will always stays alive whenever you need it. This won’t affect battery life, as Apple implemented new hardware to offer users the same 18 hours battery life on the Apple Watch Series 5 models, similar to the Apple Watch Series 4.
