The new-generation iPhone is selling so well that Apple can’t keep up with the growing demand worldwide, a new report reveals, so the company has recently decided to increase the production of the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro.
Nikkei writes that Apple has already requested suppliers to boost production by 10 percent, and sources close to the matter claim that this represents an increase of approximately 8 million units.
What’s important to know, however, is that production adjustments take place for all iPhone models included in the new family, albeit only the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro benefit from increased orders.
The report adds that the production of the iPhone 11 Pro Max will actually be reduced, as most orders apparently target the other two more affordable models in the 2019 generation.
