We’ve known for a while that iPhones are super-popular among teens, and this new survey indicates that the Apple device is reaching new records in this age segment.
No less than 86 percent of the teens said they already own an iPhone, while a total of 89 percent claimed their next smartphone to be an iPhone. These are both all-time survey highs, Piper Sandler emphasizes, so if the same trend is maintained, it could reach 90% in the next 12 months.
The survey also shows that TikTok, the social network that U.S. President Donald Trump wanted to ban, is currently the second most-used in the country after Snapchat.
