At this point, it looks like all the new iPhones are suffering from the same glitch, including the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The company says it has already started an investigation, but based on the preliminary data, it looks like the issue is related to a software problem and has nothing to do with hardware.
No workaround is known to exist, and given the device freezes, the wait for an official fix is as painful as possible.
