And while such speculation is nothing new, as similar reports have been making the headlines on several occasions before, it looks like the whole thing is indeed happening right now.
A report from Bloomberg indicates that Apple is indeed considering giving up on the proprietary port on the iPhone, and the switch could take place as soon as 2023.
In other words, the iPhone 15 could be the one to pioneer USB-C on Apple’s flagship device, though it goes without saying the plan could change overnight by the time this happens.
