Citi analysts now claim that one of the capabilities that haven’t been discussed by anyone is support for a stylus, a feature that would technically make the iPhone a direct rival to Samsung’s Galaxy Note.
At this point, the Galaxy Note is the top smartphone coming with a stylus, so presumably, Apple wants to tackle this particular market by tweaking the iPhone to work with the Apple Pencil too.
Right now, the Apple Pencil only supports the iPad Pro.
No specifics have been provided, so we can’t tell whether Apple plans to add Pencil support to all iPhone models or just one.
