Microsoft announced in May 2017 that Apple would join the Windows 10 effort with a Microsoft Store version of its popular iTunes app, essentially enabling Windows 10 S adopters to sync their iPhones and iPads as well.
Even though it was expected to launch before the end of the year, Apple has never been in a rush to roll out the Windows 10 version of iTunes, but it now looks like we’re getting closer to the moment this app is supposed to see daylight.
Italian site AggiornamentiLumia has discovered evidence which indicates that Apple is close to pushing the go-ahead button for the Microsoft Store version of iTunes, including an iTunesUWP.dll library that’s supposed to power the app.
