In fact, not only that Apple will keep Face ID around for many years, but according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the company actually wants to bring the facial recognition system to all iPhone models.
Furthermore, Face ID would also make its way to iPads, including even non-Pro models, and Macs, as Apple wants to go all-in on this security feature.
All in all, Apple wants Face ID to become a common feature across its entire device portfolio, not just on iPhones, but in the long term, even cheaper devices would get it.
