On the other hand, the main shortcoming of iMessage is that it’s limited to the Apple ecosystem, as the Cupertino-based tech giant has never released an Android version of the app. And needless to say, the company doesn’t seem to be interested in doing it anyway.
It’s not difficult to figure out why iMessage on Android would never happen, as many people believe that Apple uses it as an incentive for potential customers to get an iPhone.
