Cupertino announced a battery replacement program in late December, reducing the cost of changing a degraded battery with a new one from $79 to just $29. The campaign was launched as a mea culpa after the company admitted that it deliberately slowed down devices with worn-out units.
In early January, however, due to the big number of customers seeking battery replacements, Apple was forced to push back appointments for up to two months, citing inventory issues.
But according to a new report, these problems have now been resolved and there are enough batteries in stock to complete all servicing requests.
