A recent video that reached the web only a couple of days ago indicated that instead of offering a bigger battery, Apple actually reduced it on the iPhone 7 Plus for reasons that didn’t make sense to anyone.
But according to a teardown made by iFixIt, this is not at all the case, as the iPhone 7 Plus ships with a 2,900 mAh battery, as some leaks swirling around the web a couple of months ago indicated.
Furthermore, the iPhone 7 Plus comes with 3 GB of RAM, a welcome upgrade given the fact that it also features a dual-camera system and more power is needed to process photos, so it’s very clear that Apple spent a considerable amount of time on choosing the best hardware configuration for the phone.
