The new iPhone 12 generation is almost here, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that Apple has already finalized all details of the upgraded devices.
More specifically, the Cupertino-based tech giant seems to have a hard time finding a way to reduce the manufacturing cost of the new iPhones, especially because the company is adding 5G support across the entire lineup.
In other words, Apple is adding 5G on the new iPhones, which means that the costs with making the device will be higher than on the previous generations. Apple, however, doesn’t want to increase the price of the new models, but at the same time, it also tries to maintain its profit margin, so the company just needs to find a way to keep the production cost at the same level as before.
