We’re already counting the days left until Apple takes the wraps off the iPhone 8 on September 12, but the company is still working at full speed on getting iOS 11 ready, as the new operating system will power all new iPhone models by default and will also become available for everyone else this month.
As a result, Cupertino has just rolled out iOS 11 developer beta 9 and public beta 8, both of which can be downloaded right now by devs and users who are enrolled in Apple’s beta program.
Since we’re so close to the moment iOS 11 is projected to become widely available to all users, the new iOS 11 betas don’t bring any breaking changes, as the focus right now is on fixing bugs and improving performance before everyone gets the operating system update.
