The Apple Store is currently down, as the Cupertino-based company is preparing to take the wraps off new iPhone models as part of an event at the Apple Park.
While you might be tempted to think otherwise, the Apple Store going down is something that Apple does on purpose in order to prepare for the addition of new models, so the service is expected to return back online when today’s keynote ends (in approximately 3 hours and a half).
“We’ll be back. We’re busy updating the Apple Store for you. Please check back soon,” the “error” message displayed to users trying to connect to the Apple Store reads.

Apple will introduce a total of 3 different iPhone models today, including the anniversary model that’s tentatively called iPhone X.
