Earlier this year before rolling out the iPhone 12, Apple started surveying customers about what was believed to be a major change the company actually planned on its smartphone: the removal of the charger from the box, something that the industry is now projected to adopt en-masse.
Apple eventually gave up on the charger, so the iPhone 12 only ships with a Lightning cable in the box.
And now the company has kicked off another survey, once again suggesting something big is on its way to the iPhone. This time, according to a report from 9to5mac, the focus is on Face ID, the facial recognition system that replaced Touch ID with the debut of the iPhone X.
By the looks of things, Apple wants to hear the opinions of iPhone 12 buyers on Face ID, trying to determine how satisfied they actually are with how facial recognition works on their brand-new smartphon… (read more)
