It’s no longer a secret that the Apple Watch is selling like hotcakes, but a new analysis from Counterpoint Research comes to confirm this once again happened in 2021.
More specifically, the Apple Watch continues to be the king of smartwatches last year, though its market share fell from 32.9 percent to 30.1 percent.
The market overall improved 24 percent, and Counterpoint says Samsung managed to overtake Huawei to become the runner-up in the yearly charts with 10.2 percent. The Chinese company fell to 7.7 percent.
Fitbit also recorded an important decline, as it went down from 5.7 percent to 3.8 percent, even after Google purchased the company and new models were launched.
