Apple’s new anniversary iPhone became available for pre-order in South Korea this morning, and the device was sold out in just a few minutes, with some carriers revealing it took less than two minutes to start increasing shipping times substantially.
A report from Korea Herald reveals that South Korea has received only 100,000 iPhone X units for the start of pre-orders given Apple’s production struggles and low inventory across the world. Apple provided initial stock of 200,000 units for the iPhone 8 series that went on sale in September.
