So in addition to the iPhone, Face ID would eventually become available on more Apple products, including the iMac and the MacBook.
But on the other hand, the company isn’t at all in a rush to make this happen. Mark Gurman from Bloomberg says that while Apple is exploring such an approach, and it does want Face ID on the MacBook, the company sees no reason to hurry up.
And before Face ID makes its debut on the MacBook, it will most likely go live either on an external monitor or on the iMac, he says.
