There are many cases when human power can’t simply pick up from where technology has left off, and such an example took place recently in the United Kingdom.
30-year-old Thomas Holdroyd says he lost his iPhone 8 on a night out, so he used Find My iPhone from his personal computer in an attempt to track down the device.
Surprisingly, Find My iPhone located the lost device in a police station in Ilford, UK, which in most cases is good news because recovering it from law enforcement should be way easier than getting an iPhone back from a thief. But in this case, the problem was far from being solved.

As Holdroyd explained for the Daily Mail, the police can’t find the lost iPhone inside the station, despite the tracking app clearly showing that the device is somewhere inside.
