Apple announced iOS 16 earlier this week at WWDC, and thanks to the developer preview that has already been released for testing, we can finally have a look at what’s to come in September when this version goes live for everybody with a supported iPhone.
9to5mac discovered that iOS 16 will allow users to remove even more pre-installed apps, including Find My, Health, and Clock apps.
Needless to say, if you remove these apps, you’re going to lose some essential functionality. For instance, once the Clock app is uninstalled, setting a new alarm or timer is no longer possible unless you turn to a third-party app for such functionality.

For the typical Apple user, removing pre-installed apps is big news, as the Cupertino-based tech giant is known as a company that has created a walled garden full of restrictions.
