The information comes from a tipster who shared the dates with MacRumors, but on the other hand, the September 13 start of pre-orders isn’t by any means surprising.
Apple typically begins taking pre-orders for new products, be they iPhones, MacBooks, or Apple Watch models, on the first Friday after the official unveiling. Sales in retail stores and shipments kick off a week later on Friday as well.
This means that the iPhone 11 should become available for pre-ordering on September 13, while the first units should start shipping to customers on September 20.
