iPhone 12 Could Become the Number 1 iPhone in History

iPhone 12 launched later than anticipated, but since then, the device has been selling like hotcakes. And as it turns out, the demand for the entire lineup remains strong, with two analysts forecasting that Apple could eventually set its own new personal record in the smartphone world.

Wedbush analysts Strecker Backe and Daniel Ives said in a note obtained by CultOfMac that Apple could ship a total of 25 million units this year, which means the company could eventually surpass the record it set in 2015 when it managed to sell 231 million iPhones.

iPhone 12 could thus become the best-selling iPhone in history, with the analysts anticipating a supercycle that would convince more people to upgrade to this new models.
