Apple is obviously working on a new-generation iPhone, and as compared to the 2020 generation when the new models were launched in October and November, the company wants to return to the typical September release date for its flagship product.
The launch of the iPhone 12 was substantially impacted by the global health crisis which has slowed down the planning phase and forced some Apple suppliers to reduce the production and, in some cases, to push back certain phases of the iPhone production plans.
Eventually, the Cupertino-based tech giant had no other option than to delay the iPhone launch altogether, so the company decided to embrace a phased rollout for the new lineup, with the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro announced in October, followed by the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max in November.
