iPhone 14 Max Likely to Launch in Limited Numbers

The new iPhones are projected to be announced in September, as per Apple’s typical calendar, so we’re only approximately one month and a half away from the moment the company will finally take the wraps off the new generation.

People familiar with the matter said on several occasions that Apple specifically started every phase ahead of the mass production earlier than usual in order to prevent any potential delays that could affect the iPhone 14.

At the same time, the Cupertino-based tech giant wanted to bring all devices to the market simultaneously, all without any inventory issues.

However, it looks like the all-new iPhone 14 Max could end up launching in limited numbers anyway. Display analyst Ross Young says the display panel shipments for this particular configuration are way behind, and this could suggest that the device might only be offered with a limited inventory after the launch.
