iPhone 7 Still More Successful than iPhone X (Not for Long Though)

iPhone X appears to be one of the most successful iPhone models to date, but new data offered by research firm IHS Markit seems to indicate that Apple’s new product still has a long way to go to beat its predecessors.

iPhone X already accounts for 2 percent of all iPhone models in eight different countries, the research shows, and this happens only three weeks after its launch.

This makes the anniversary iPhone more successful than the iPhone 8, both standard and Plus models, but still not as widely adopted as the iPhone 7 in the first weeks of availability. Singapore, Denmark, Switzerland, and Japan are the countries where iPhone X recorded the best sales, the research shows.

Furthermore, Apple’s OLED iPhone X is selling fast in countries where iPhone Plus models recorded strong performance as well, as customers here typically show bigger interest in high-end features like dual-camera systems, OLED displays, and others.
