But according to new data from Counterpoint Research, iPhone X was simply the best-selling smartphone worldwide in February ahead not only of all other iPhone models but also of Samsung’s flagships.
The even better news for Apple is that four of the five top-selling devices in the second month of the year were iPhones, and CR says the company managed to improve volumes by as much as 5 percent versus February 2017. “However, its market share slipped lower as the new downward curve of its product cycle continues,” CR notes.
