Apple will begin shipping the new iPhones on Friday, but there’s one question that has remained unanswered until now: how large is the battery coming on these models?
The Cupertino-based tech giant bragged about the battery life of its 2018 iPhone generation during the September 12 launch event, but no specifics were actually provided.
Thanks to a new report coming from China, however, we now have the exact capacity of the 2018 iPhone batteries, confirming that the iPhone XS Max indeed has the largest battery ever on an iPhone.
iPhone XS will feature a 2,658 mAh battery, while the bigger brother iPhone XS Max will come with a 3,174 mAh unit. iPhone XR, which is the most affordable model launching this year, will run on a 2,942 mAh battery.
