More specifically, some of those who deploy iOS 14.7 beta 2 on their iPhones could end up getting a critical SIM failure error that shows up after booting their devices following the installation of the update.
At the first glance, only people using eSIM are affected, with these iPhones then no longer being able to make and receive calls or connect to the Internet using a cellular data plan. This makes sense, as it looks like the iPhone fails to initialize the SIM, which means that no SIM services are available on the affected devices.
