Leak Claims New iPhones Could Be Cheaper than Existing Models

The new iPhone generation that Apple will unveil in just a few hours will include three models, all of them successors to the devices currently on the market, but according to a new leak, these upgraded smartphones will be more affordable than the ones they replace.

However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that all iPhones would get cheaper, as only some configurations will come with a price cut versus the existing generation.

Specifically, the leak allegedly coming from a Taiwanese telecom indicates that the iPhone 11, which is the iPhone XR successor, will start at $749 with 64GB storage. A second version with 256GB storage will be available for $899, so not much is going to change from a pricing perspective for the LCD iPhone.
