Apple’s new iPhone generation is just around the corner, with the company projected to announce the 2022 lineup on September 7.
Just like in 2021, the new iPhone family will include four different models, though the big news this year is the iPhone mini is being killed off to make room for another large iPhone.
The sales of the 5.4-inch iPhone mini have so far been well below expectations, so the Cupertino-based tech giant has decided to ditch this model entirely. The new iPhone 14 lineup will therefore introduce an all-new iPhone version, this time with a 6.7-inch screen.
Despite coming with the same screen size as the iPhone 14 Pro Max, the new model would essentially be a larger version of the standard iPhone 14. Referred to as the iPhone 14 Max until now, it now looks like the device could have another name when it hits the shelves.
