The new iPhone generation will be here in just a few days, and pricing information that got leaked a few hours ago provides us with a glimpse into how much we’ll have to pay for these upgraded models.
But despite the leaks, Apple’s new iPhones could end up being priced even higher, according to new analyst estimates, with the base model to cost no less than $799.
Wamsi Mohan, analyst, Bank of America, says there’s a chance Apple plans to make its new-generation iPhone more expensive than indicated by the all the leaks that surfaced lately.
This means the “more affordable” iPhone with a 6.1-inch LCD screen could end up being sold for $799 in the cheapest configuration, while the iPhone Xs would retain the price of its predecessor and hit the shelves with a $999 price tag.
