Qualcomm Wants to Ban Apple's Intel-Powered iPhone and iPad Devices in the U.S.

The fight between Qualcomm and Apple is far from over, and things just got to a whole new level today when Qualcomm, world’s leader in 3G and next-generation mobile technologies, requested that the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) place a ban on all iPhone and iPad devices that use a 4G wireless modem from Intel.

This breaking news comes from Financial Times, which reports that Qualcomm’s Don Rosenberg told them that they’d placed a “limited exclusion order” for all of Apple’s devices that use Intel’s 4G wireless modem, but not on those that are powered by Qualcomm’s chips, of course, claiming Apple is violating six patents, for which it put together an inforgraphic.
