Apple Fitness+, the popular subscription service for iOS devices, has kicked off the new year with its biggest lineup of programming yet. The service has introduced a progressive strength training program, a conditioning program for pickleball, a yoga workshop-style program, and a breath meditation program to help users stay active and mindful in 2025.

Progressive Strength Training

The new strength training program is designed to take the guesswork out of creating the perfect workout routine. The program includes three weeks of guided workouts, targeting every major muscle group with 12 30-minute sessions. Each week focuses on a different aspect of strength training, including progressive overload, time under tension, and dynamic power.

Pickleball Conditioning

For those who enjoy playing pickleball, Apple Fitness+ has introduced a new conditioning program designed to improve strength, endurance, and agility. The program features professional pickleball champion Catherine Parenteau, who shares her own training regimen and provides exercises to help users feel confident and perform their best on the court.

Yoga and Breath Meditation

The new yoga program, called Yoga Peak Poses, brings an intimate workshop-style experience directly to users, with an emphasis on form and education. Each session focuses on a single peak pose, providing users with a 10-minute prep flow to warm up before the 10-minute practice session.

The new breath meditation program, Introduction to Breath Meditation, teaches powerful, easy-to-follow techniques for managing stress, boosting energy, and enhancing focus. Users can choose from five 10-minute meditations, each designed to help users relax, recharge, or refocus.

Artist Spotlight and Time to Walk

The Artist Spotlight series returns with new workouts featuring music from some of the world’s biggest artists, including Janet Jackson, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, and Kendrick Lamar. Each playlist is crafted to fuel workouts across different types of training, from cycling and HIIT to strength and dance.

Time to Walk, an award-winning audio experience, also returns with new episodes featuring guests such as Adam Scott, Rita Ora, Daddy Yankee, and Tiffany Haddish.

Fitness+ and Strava

Apple Fitness+ is teaming up with Strava to bring a new integration to the Strava app experience. When users share a Fitness+ workout to Strava, the Strava app will display rich details, including episode image, episode number, music genre, trainer name, and metrics. Strava subscribers can also redeem up to three months of Fitness+ at no cost, giving them access to the largest library of 4K Ultra High Definition fitness and wellness content in the world.

Availability and Pricing

Apple Fitness+ is available as a subscription service for $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year, and can be shared with up to five other family members. The service is included in the Apple One Premier plan, which also gives customers access to Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, and iCloud+ with 2TB of storage.
