The South Korean’s next flagship was rumored to be its first smartphone launching with a fingerprint sensor embedded into the screen, but according to reliable leakster UniverseIce, that’s not going to happen.
While no other specifics were provided, he says this is “100 percent” accurate information, which means Samsung has two possible options: either copy Apple’s approach and launch the Galaxy S9 with facial recognition or stick with the fingerprint sensor placed on the back.
