Rumor has it that Apple might be planning a white version of the iPhone, possibly to debut with the next-generation in the fall of 2017, but as it usually happens with everything Apple, there’s still no official hint that this is indeed the plan.
A video that was posted on Twitter by Sonny Dickson, however, shows what seems to be a white version of the iPhone 7, which he describes as “Jet White” without providing any other details.
And while everything is pretty sketchy on this white iPhone, let’s dig deeper into details to see what this is all about.
First and foremost, why a white iPhone? Long-time Apple fans probably remember that there was a time when Cupertino actually offered a white iPhone, and now people familiar with the company’s plans indicate that bringing back this version is at least being considering within the firm.
