One of the biggest changes coming to the iPhone with the refresh happening this year is the demise of the notch, as Apple is reportedly working on a change that many people have been drooling over for years.
Multiple sources familiar with the matter confirmed that Apple wants to remove the notch from the Pro models launching in 2022, and now another tipster corroborates this information, adding that a hole-punch camera will almost certainly make its way to the production devices this year.
In other words, the notch is going away from the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max, with Apple to go for a punch-hole screen similar to the one that Samsung is already using on its flagship products.
