Woman Dressed Like a Bear in the Middle of the Summer Smuggles 102 iPhones

A Chinese woman has attempted to smuggle no more, no less than 102 iPhones into the country, but she got caught after the customs officers noticed her unusual warm clothing in the middle of the summer.

A report from Chinese-based XMNN reveals that the woman was caught by the police with a total of 102 iPhones organized on 4 different layers that were taped to her torso and waist. The iPhones were then covered with winter clothes, despite the hot weather in the country.

For what it’s worth, it’s pretty hot in Shenzhen these days, with the temperature to reach 29 degrees Celsius later today (that’s approximately 85 degrees Fahrenheit for our American readers out there).

So while the woman was pretty clever to strap the 102 Apple smartphones around her body on four different layers, she actually failed the more important test and got caught by the customs officers sim… (read more)
