Did you bought an iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus smartphone today? Well, we have some good news for you if you’re a Netflix fan, as it’s now possible to watch your favorite movies and TV shows in Dolby Vision HDR.

OK, so what’s that Dolby Vision or HDR you’re talking about? Well, let us tell you that Dolby Vision it’s a variant of HDR (High Dynamic Range), and both are cutting-edge technologies used by various service providers to offer you content in a more dramatic color palette and contrast range.

We’re pretty sure you’ve seen HDR images before, so the Dolby Vision and UltraHD Premium (HDR) technologies work pretty much the same on video streams, and Netflix is among the first to offer its customers the two streaming formats for supported TVs, tablets or smartphones.
