Apple is projected to launch the very first iPhone with 5G capabilities next year, and according to a new report, it expects the device to be more successful than the current models on the market.
Digitimes writes, citing sources from Taiwan’s supply chain, that Apple has already discussed shipment plans with its suppliers, and the company said it expects what is described as a “sharp rise” from iPhone 11.
In other words, Apple expects the 2020 iPhone with 5G support to sell in higher volumes as compared to iPhone 11, albeit for now, no estimates are available.

Apple’s next-generation iPhone will include three different models, each successor to the current iPhone lineup – in other words, Apple will launch upgraded versions of iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
