Apple Redesigns iTunes to Work with HomePod and Let Users Control Music Playback

After releasing the new iOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS software updates, Apple released today a new version of its cross-platform iTunes music player to add support for the HomePod.

iTunes 12.7.3 is now available for macOS and Windows systems, and it looks like it’s been designed by Apple to work with the company’s upcoming smart speaker and intelligent assistant, the HomePod.

After some delay caused by production issues, the Cupertino-based company announced today plans to release the HomePod early next month on February 9, with pre-orders kicking off this Friday.
