After launching earlier today the final release of the iOS 10.3 mobile operating system on supported iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices, Apple pushed the fourth maintenance update to macOS 10.12 Sierra users.
macOS 10.12.4 Sierra has been in development for the same amount of time as iOS 10.3, since the end of January, during which it received no less than eight Beta builds that allowed registered developers and public beta testers to get an early taste of what’s coming to the operating system for their beloved Macs.
The biggest new feature implemented by the Cupertino company in the macOS 10.12.4 Sierra update is Night Shift, a new desktop functionality that’s here to protect users’ eyes from the blue light of digital devices by automatically shifting the colors of your display to the warmer end of the spectrum after sunset.
